Dark, rich, and concentrated, this bourbon smells like every enthusiast’s dream. The age is immediately apparent, centering on molasses, antique oak, worn leather, and gobs of chocolate ganache. An underlying base of mixed berry compote adds a syrupy sweetness with a slightly tart bite for complexity. A touch of cashew and almond rounds out the experience, adding a rich, fatty texture.
